Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week from the assigned office

What you will do

• Design and implement features for the hirify.global Automate workflow automation platform, leading backend architecture and distributed systems design.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend services for millions of workflow executions.
• Build responsive React interfaces for creating, configuring, and monitoring automated workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, engineering best practices, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Join the on-call rotation and respond to production incidents during evenings and weekends when scheduled.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript with React, plus object-oriented design, REST APIs, and modern web development practices.
• Professional ability to independently deliver both backend and frontend features.
• Experience with scalable backend systems, database design, caching, asynchronous processing, cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience influencing technical direction through RFCs, design documents, or cross-team collaboration.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation, business process management, or integration platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices, enterprise integrations, and API design.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, mentoring engineers, or contributing to open-source projects.
