Clinical Specialist, TEG (San Jose, CA) (Field role) (Medtech)

Location: Residence required in the San Jose, CA area; field role with daily travel and 15–20% overnight travel. Remote from the Boston NA headquarters, but not a fully remote role.

Salary: $85,000–$160,000 annually, plus potential sales incentives and other applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage the existing TEG customer territory and increase product utilization, account expansion, and annual sales performance.
• Train new and existing users on TEG equipment, software, disposables, clinical applications, and interpretation of TEG results.
• Provide onsite clinical education, case support, go-live assistance, after-hours support, and customer follow-up across laboratories, critical care, operating rooms, and other areas.
• Develop relationships with clinicians, clinical champions, decision-makers, and C-level stakeholders while identifying opportunities for new applications, upgrades, add-on devices, and competitive conversions.
• Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Support installations, validation, verification, competency and SOP development, IQCP development, logistics, ordering, trade shows, product launches, and market or quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or medical-related profession is required.
• At least 3 years of industry or clinically related experience is required, preferably with complex medical devices and/or in a critical care environment.
• Knowledge of hemostasis management is required.
• Strong technical and clinical aptitude to understand products, train customers and users, operate the TEG Analyzer, apply TEG results, and manipulate the software.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory and make 15–20% overnight trips.
• Residence in the San Jose, CA area is required.
