Staff/Senior Software Engineer - Collection Team (Cortex Platform)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; full-time office work is expected for most teams.

Cybersecurity company building the Cortex Platform to protect customers' digital environments and provide security coverage across operational environments and third-party services.

What you will do

• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, and support.
• Design and build high-throughput infrastructure capable of supporting billions of events per second.
• Process customer data and ensure event accessibility and visibility at peak scale.
• Develop scalable server-side applications for low-latency, high-scale data ingestion.
• Drive ideas and initiatives from ideation through implementation and lead colleagues during execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, equivalent knowledge, or equivalent military experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable server-side applications.
• Experience with distributed cloud products.
• Experience with a variety of database and caching technologies, including MySQL, Cassandra, Google BigQuery, or Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Python.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity field.
