Staff Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop, release, and operate large-scale web applications.
• Define backend architecture and technology stacks for product areas.
• Improve the performance, reliability, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Transition a monolithic codebase toward a microservice-based architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and evaluate technical trade-offs to maximize business impact.
• Use AI coding tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, monitoring, and release.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Professional experience with backend technology stacks and modern web architecture, including HTTP and REST.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, unit testing, and architectural design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Spark, or S3.
• Ability to analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.

Nice to have

• Experience building large-scale, real-time applications.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Open-source project contributions.
