Staff Product Designer (Marketplace)

Location: Berlin, Germany. Hybrid work with two recommended office days per week; remote work is available under the stated workation policy.

Annual gross salary: €108,800–€147,200 EUR.

What you will do

• Own product design projects that deliver measurable impact across the Marketplace experience.
• Define strategic opportunities and build cases that secure commitment from senior stakeholders.
• Raise the capability of individual contributors through pair work, critique, and direct coaching.
• Influence product managers and engineers to apply design principles in their decisions.
• Drive the evolution of design standards and produce work that raises the quality bar.
• Experiment with, systematise, and communicate AI-powered ways of working for design and prototyping.

Requirements

• Typically 10+ years of product design experience for consumer-scale digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong taste, judgment, and shipped impact.
• Hands-on experience using AI for design, prototyping, and automation.
• Ability to work independently through ambiguity and move initiatives forward without detailed direction.
• Strong judgment, a clear point of view, adaptability, and experience changing how an organisation works.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Berlin, with two recommended office days per week.
