Senior Product Designer (Web3)

Location: Remote from Germany

hirify.global and BIO.xyz build infrastructure and coordination layers for decentralized science, enabling communities to fund, govern, and advance biotech research through web3 technologies.

What you will do

• Design and refine user experiences and interfaces for core web and mobile applications from concept through launch.
• Own and expand a scalable, accessible design system and component library.
• Deliver polished UI components, documentation, specifications, and usage guidelines.
• Partner with frontend engineers during implementation to ensure design quality and feasibility.
• Build interactive prototypes with AI-powered tools and iterate based on user feedback, data, and product needs.
• Lead design frameworks, brainstorms, stakeholder presentations, and contributions to the broader visual identity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional product or UI design experience, ideally with complex products.
• Experience building and scaling design systems and hybrid component libraries across teams.
• Expertise in Figma and hands-on experience managing design systems in it.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, frontend frameworks, and interaction design for mobile and desktop.
• Active use of AI tools and AI-enhanced design workflows.
• Clear communication, collaboration, self-sufficient ownership, and the ability to explain design decisions to designers, engineers, and leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI or agent-based product experiences.
• Ability to build and test working prototypes independently.
• Experience with design tokens, frontend implementation, user testing, iterative research, or external design agencies.
• Background in web3, biotech, or decentralized science.
