Senior Product Designer (PDF Expert)

hirify.global develops personal productivity products for Apple devices, including PDF Expert, a PDF application for reading, editing, annotating, and managing documents across Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

What you will do

• Own the core PDF Expert experience across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, improving document workflows, editing, annotation, navigation, and organization.
• Use research, analytics, and user feedback to identify high-impact problems and prioritize product opportunities.
• Generate, validate, and launch product ideas and hypotheses that improve engagement and retention.
• Lead efforts to resolve usability issues and inconsistencies across key user journeys.
• Build scalable design-system patterns with Engineering and improve their quality and adoption.
• Use AI for exploration, prototyping, and validation, and help shape how the design team works with AI.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience with shipped work on complex products.
• A portfolio with case studies demonstrating the design process and results.
• Strong visual and interaction design craft, product thinking, problem-solving, and strategic judgment.
• Experience building or scaling a design system in close collaboration with Engineering.
• Experience designing native macOS and/or iOS applications and understanding platform conventions.
• Proficiency with AI tools and excellent English communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
