Lead, Program Management (Defense Tech)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite role supporting the Carlsbad site

Salary: $127,000–$236,000 annually for the California salary range

What you will do

• Coordinate program execution and resource planning for employees and capital at the Carlsbad site.
• Manage programs against contractual and internal schedule, performance, and budget commitments.
• Establish performance metrics and management plans, and monitor contract requirements, forecasts, cost, schedule, sales, profit, and Estimate at Completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across engineering, operations, quality, finance, manufacturing, purchasing, and material control.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and opportunities, leading corrective actions through closure.
• Prepare presentations, status updates, recommendations, funding requests, and proposal materials for leadership and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• Applicants without a degree must have at least 13 years of relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance required.
• Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional program execution and resource planning.
• Ability to work at the Carlsbad, California site.

Nice to have

• Adjudicated CI Polygraph.
• Proficiency in schedule planning and management.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems.
• Experience in photonics.
