Software Engineer (GitHub Contributor)

Location: Remote – Worldwide

Salary: $50–$100 per hour; output-based payment depends on completed tasks meeting project specifications.

What you will do

• Develop realistic coding challenges for AI code-generation training.
• Debug complex software issues, fix defects, and implement and test new features.
• Refactor and optimize existing codebases for performance and maintainability.
• Build reproducible reinforcement learning environments with deterministic verifiers.
• Provide reference solutions, document technical reasoning, and review code submissions.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C++, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with backend development, APIs, and scalable software systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and perform automated testing and debugging.
• GitHub profile demonstrating relevant open-source contributions, or willingness to complete a technical assessment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
