Director, Indirect Procurement (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid role in Rancho Cordova, California, United States

Salary: USD 133,680–213,900 per year, plus eligibility for RSU, RCU, and cash bonus programs.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day procurement engine for indirect spend, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, catalogs, policy controls, and invoice exceptions.
• Build multi-year category strategies using spend analytics, market intelligence, demand forecasts, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including market scans, RFIs, RFPs, bid analysis, negotiations, should-cost modeling, and supplier awards.
• Manage contracts and renewals with Legal, including master services agreements, statements of work, software and subscription terms, rate cards, rebates, and termination rights.
• Own savings plans, supplier relationship management, performance reviews, risk mitigation, and responsible-sourcing requirements across the indirect portfolio.
• Lead and develop a distributed team while representing procurement in executive governance forums and partnering with Finance, Legal, IT, Information Security, HR, and EHS.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in ESG/sustainability, supply chain risk management, corporate responsibility, or a closely related field, including at least 3 years leading teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of a large indirect spend portfolio with Finance-validated savings and cost-avoidance results.
• Expertise in operational procurement controls, strategic category management, competitive sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contracting.
• Fluency with procurement and ERP systems, spend analytics, and credible spend and savings reporting.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and functional organizations.

Nice to have

• MBA or related master's degree and certification such as CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS.
• Experience in semiconductor, high-technology manufacturing, or another capital-intensive industry.
• Experience establishing or maturing procurement policies, systems, operating models, or organizations.
• Experience coordinating global procurement efforts and leading selected sourcing activities.
