Manager, Financial Analysis (Construction, Energy and Marine)

Location: Hybrid in Hartford, Connecticut, or St. Paul, Minnesota, United States

Annual base salary: $89,800–$148,300, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Prepare, evaluate, validate, and improve financial and operational reports for the Construction, Energy, and Marine business units.
• Analyze business performance, trends, variances, data limitations, and gaps.
• Present financial results, observations, recommendations, and business insights to managers and cross-functional partners.
• Develop complex analyses supporting business strategy and participate in financial reporting projects and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate financial results into actionable recommendations.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; an MBA concentration in finance or accounting, or professional credentials such as CPA or CMA, is also relevant.
• At least three years of experience in finance, financial planning, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with financial analysis concepts, accounting principles, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong data analysis, strategic thinking, communication, presentation, judgment, and project management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and financial reporting software such as TM1, IPA, Essbase, or Hyperion.
