Senior IT Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations.

What you will do

• Lead IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise technology projects.
• Develop integrated project plans covering milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, risks, and implementation schedules.
• Coordinate architecture reviews, migration planning, integrations, testing, deployments, and production cutovers.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, scope changes, corrective actions, and competing priorities.
• Align IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure engineering, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership on project objectives and deliverables.
• Support operational readiness, knowledge transfer, documentation, and transition of completed solutions to IT operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems, computer science, business administration, project management, or a related field with 5–8 years of relevant experience; or a related master’s degree with 3–6 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT project management, risk management, technology delivery methodologies, governance, and change management.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, identity services, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of secure cloud environments, AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP requirements, infrastructure migrations, system integration, and operational readiness.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with technical dependencies, cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, testing, deployment, and operational transitions.
• Must meet U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulation eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent project management tools.
• Experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, ServiceNow, Confluence, or SharePoint.
