Software Engineer I (Cybersecurity)

Location: Malvern, UK; hybrid work with 2 days on-site

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 GBP per year, plus bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Develop cybersecurity software using C++, Go, C# or C-like languages.
• Write high-quality code following agile development practices and the established toolset.
• Test software formally and through ad-hoc testing.
• Produce technical documentation using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate within a closely connected UK development team and contribute independently to technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
• Recent graduation within the last two years or 1–2 years of experience in a junior software engineering or development role.
• Programming experience with C++, Go, C# or C-like languages.
• Basic understanding of Linux and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Interest in or knowledge of application security, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; suitability for UK security clearance may be required.
