Analyst II, Quality Control (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite laboratory and sterile manufacturing site

Salary: $60,000–$86,250 per year

What you will do

• Perform analytical testing on finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, including data review and on-the-floor sampling in support of sterile manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and safely handle hazardous materials.
• Support laboratory investigations, QC method and SOP updates, and test protocols for development and validation.
• Review QC data and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
• Collaborate with laboratory, operations, and QA groups in classified and non-classified manufacturing areas.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of cGXP requirements and familiarity with production operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in mathematics, laboratory work, and computer applications.
• Understanding of basic statistics and quality control terminology.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, follow procedures, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts on Friday through Monday, from 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• QC chemistry laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, including HPLC, operations, and safety.
