Knowledge Architect, Fleet (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA, United States. The position involves access to export-controlled information and requires U.S. person status or eligibility for the required export authorization.

Base salary: $134,000–$179,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain onboarding curricula for operations engineers, quarterbacks, operations managers, and Fleet partner teams.
• Write and maintain systems documentation, workflows, runbooks, escalation guides, vocabulary, and regional reference materials.
• Capture operational knowledge from engineers and subject matter experts, including site bring-up patterns, incident learnings, and tooling workflows.
• Own the structure, navigation, labeling, templates, and content lifecycle of FRO and Fleet Confluence spaces.
• Manage documentation requests from intake and scoping through delivery, publication, and stakeholder communication.
• Audit knowledge assets for accuracy, coverage, and discoverability, prioritizing on-call, incident response, and new site stand-up content.

Requirements

• Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation for technical audiences, including systems documentation, runbooks, workflows, escalation guides, or developer guides.
• Experience interviewing engineers or subject matter experts and converting their knowledge into published documentation.
• Experience building or maintaining onboarding programs or curricula for technical or operations teams.
• Experience managing Confluence or a comparable documentation platform, including structure, navigation, labeling, templates, and style standards.
• Experience auditing documentation and managing request queues in Jira or a comparable system.
• Must meet U.S. export-control access requirements for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center operations, bare metal provisioning, hardware lifecycle, GPU infrastructure, operations, SRE, or on-call teams.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Redfish, AWX or Ansible, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Experience with docs-as-code workflows using Git, Markdown, and pull requests.
• Experience with enterprise search, content discoverability, or information architecture for large content repositories.
