Senior Analyst, Actuarial - Reserving

Location: New York City office, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are required in the office for team meetings and events.

Salary: $101,844–$133,670 per year, plus benefits and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Establish and communicate monthly close accruals for IBNR claims, risk adjustment, and shared savings arrangements.
• Use SQL and Python to expand actuarial frameworks and generate insights for actuarial teams.
• Review and submit regulatory filings.
• Investigate performance trends and provide analysis for financial planning, pricing, and company strategy.
• Shape actuarial best practices for automation and documentation while maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support analyst onboarding and integration into existing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or currently pursuing the designation.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule from the New York City office, with 3 days of in-office work per week.
