Development Executive, Film and Television

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; office-based

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 base salary per year, excluding bonuses, stock options, and benefits.

What you will do

• Expand the slate of IP-based and original film and television projects.
• Support creative development by providing notes and assisting with the packaging and staffing of writers, directors, and department heads.
• Identify opportunities to adapt hirify.global game IP into film and television.
• Create visual decks and creative materials that communicate project vision to creative partners.
• Evaluate scripts, treatments, outlines, pitch materials, cuts, and other submissions, providing recommendations to senior executives.
• Build relationships with writers, directors, producers, actors, buyers, agencies, management companies, and production companies while monitoring market activity and buyer priorities.

Requirements

• Experience as an executive at a production company, studio, or network.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and package film or television projects.
• Deep understanding of the entertainment landscape, including film, television, books, games, and social media.
• Strong ability to evaluate creative materials and provide thoughtful, actionable notes.
• Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects and collaborate across teams.
• Passion for and engagement with the video game industry.
