Senior Corporate Assurance Manager

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week at hirify.global Group HQ in Osterley. Candidates must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead assurance activity across the corporate policy and control environment, assessing policy adherence, control effectiveness and governance arrangements.
• Partner with policy owners, control owners and subject matter experts to strengthen business ownership and support sustainable improvement.
• Help shape hirify.global's Enterprise Assurance framework, methodologies and standards, ensuring consistent and objective delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve assurance through data, insight, reporting and automation.
• Translate assurance findings into clear recommendations and reporting for leaders and stakeholders.
• Work with the Technical Assurance Manager on a coordinated enterprise-wide approach across corporate and technical domains.

Requirements

• Ability to assess the design and effectiveness of policies, controls and governance frameworks, identifying weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Expertise in translating assurance findings into clear, practical and actionable stakeholder insight.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, corporate policy management, control environments and organisational accountability.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust across diverse business functions.
• Confidence to influence, challenge and constructively hold stakeholders accountable for control effectiveness and risk management.
• Strong problem-solving capability, including root-cause analysis, option evaluation and driving sustainable improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with assurance, risk and control subject matter experts to build an enterprise-wide view of risks, controls and assurance outcomes.
• Comfort operating within a newly established function while shaping methodologies, processes and ways of working.
• Background in assurance, compliance, audit or control-related disciplines.
