Senior Test Automation Engineer (Kafka)

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania

What you will do

• Design test plans, test strategies, test designs, and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Execute feature, API, integration, load, and end-to-end testing to validate functionality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python or Java.
• Build integration and load-testing scenarios for Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams solutions.
• Automate UI and end-to-end scenarios with Playwright.
• Configure Azure DevOps test pipelines and collaborate with engineers in Agile/Scrum delivery.

Requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams, including integration and load testing.
• Strong test automation experience with Python and/or Java, including testing Angular-based applications.
• Practical expertise in feature, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Azure DevOps automated test pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Proven experience creating test plans, test designs, and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Fluent English is required for collaboration in an international project environment.
