Digital Animation Intern

Location: Medina, Minnesota, USA; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. persons and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $19.50–$30.75 per hour

What you will do

• Create 2D and 3D animations that communicate vehicle designs, features, systems, and user experiences.
• Develop motion graphics and visual storytelling assets for design reviews, presentations, concept proposals, and product reveals.
• Animate vehicle components, interactions, and functionality to communicate design intent.
• Prepare digital assets for rendering, visualization, animation, and immersive experiences.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, digital modelers, CMF designers, human factors teams, and studio engineers.
• Support real-time rendering, virtual reality, and interactive design experiences when applicable.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Animation, Motion Design, Digital Media, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Visualization, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating 2D animation, 3D animation, motion graphics, visualization, or digital storytelling.
• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Unreal Engine, or similar software.
• Understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Creative problem-solving, collaboration, and ability to incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Must be a U.S. person and must not require visa sponsorship.
