TL;DR
Senior Analytics Engineer (Tableau): Building and optimizing scalable enterprise analytics platforms and Tableau environments integrated with Snowflake, Salesforce Cloud, and Tableau Cloud with an accent on architecture, performance tuning, security, and Python automation. Focus on designing CI/CD pipelines, administering Tableau infrastructure, optimizing dashboards and data sources, and solving complex integration and scalability challenges.
Location: Peachtree Corners, Georgia; San Diego, California; or Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Relocation assistance is not available.
Salary: $133,000–$166,000 USD annually.

What you will do
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for Tableau dashboards, SQL scripts, and Python code.
- Build scalable Tableau architecture and maintain Tableau Cloud configuration, data models, permissions, and refresh processes.
- Optimize dashboards, extracts, queries, and data sources while monitoring performance and resolving bottlenecks.
- Administer Tableau Cloud environments, including upgrades, capacity planning, security, and access controls.
- Develop Python automation for Tableau asset management, performance monitoring, and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to create reusable pipelines and transformations integrated with Snowflake and Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data infrastructure, or BI platform development.
- Advanced Tableau development, architecture, and dashboard optimization experience.
- Hands-on experience administering Tableau Cloud or Tableau Server.
- Strong Python, SQL, Snowflake, CI/CD, and GitHub or GitLab workflow experience.
- Experience working in SaaS or software product environments.
