Data Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Design scalable Azure data solutions for multi-source system integration.
• Create datasets supporting analytics and reporting platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, specifications, and data models.
• Design ETL/ELT processes, data warehouses, and data lake solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, data quality, validation, and error handling.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, DBAs, and stakeholders; support backend development and document solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data platform services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Storage, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and star schemas.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• Knowledge of APIs, CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, Azure security concepts, data quality, and validation.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

• Power BI, reporting, metrics, KPIs, and business intelligence experience.
• Azure DevOps, ARM templates, RBAC, Key Vaults, and cloud security knowledge.
• Agriculture or agribusiness domain experience.
• Mentoring experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
