IT Payment Regulatory Officer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Group compliance framework for PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication, Open Banking, fraud prevention, and IT incident reporting.
• Assess regulatory, technical, and operational impacts of Settlement Finality Directive, SEPA, and EPC rulebook updates.
• Translate European payment regulations into practical requirements and guidance for business, IT, and security teams.
• Execute compliance assessments, gap analyses, and action plans across regulated entities and payment infrastructures.
• Lead regulatory initiatives related to MiCA and the Digital Euro.
• Coordinate with regulated entities, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders on regulatory interpretations, reporting, and incident notifications.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in payment regulation, compliance, or payment IT environments, ideally within a payment institution, bank, or regulatory body.
• Solid knowledge of PSD2, Open Banking, SCA, fraud prevention, IT incident reporting, and DORA-related topics.
• Knowledge of SEPA, EPC rulebooks, and the Settlement Finality Directive, with an interest in MiCA and the Digital Euro.
• Ability to understand payment systems and IT architectures and translate regulatory texts into technical requirements.
• Strong regulatory analysis, stakeholder management, communication, and writing skills.
• Fluent English and the ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment.
