Senior Internal Controller (Fintech)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with the possibility of working from home 2 days per week

Salary: €58,000–€71,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain hirify.global’s internal control framework, including second-level control plans.
• Conduct second-level control missions to assess the effectiveness of first-level controls.
• Oversee incident management, including anomaly identification, reporting, and remediation.
• Analyze control results, prepare detailed reports, and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Manage internal control tools and update risk mapping through quarterly meetings with department heads.
• Support operational teams in documenting procedures and establishing appropriate first-level controls.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of experience in internal control or audit.
• Experience in a regulated environment; fintech, payment institution, or banking experience is preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different situations and requests.
• Good working proficiency in English and French.
• Ability to collaborate with Payments, Sales, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and other cross-functional teams.

Hiring process

• 30-minute call with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• One-hour meeting with the Chief Risk Officer, followed by a case study and one-hour presentation.
• Peer interview with Compliance and final interview with the CEO.
