Senior Engineer (SRE/DevOps)

Location: Remote, with listed locations in New York and Austin; incident coverage is required during the Australian business day.

What you will do

• Own high-priority production incidents as the primary responder during the Australian business day.
• Identify recurring support patterns and develop product fixes and feature enhancements with the core product team.
• Participate in daily handovers with EMEA and US teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Mentor colleagues, share technical knowledge, and perform code reviews.
• Help grow a local platform engineering team within a globally distributed organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or high-level product support.
• Proficiency with AWS or GCP, Bazel, and gRPC.
• Professional experience with Java, Golang, or Python.
• Ability to document complex technical issues for a global, asynchronous audience.
• Team-first approach and strong collaboration skills.
