Site Reliability Engineer I

Location: Remote in Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico; the requirements also state that candidates must be based in the United States and eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for customer-affecting technical incidents and lead real-time resolution.
• Monitor and respond to Zabbix, Grafana, and OpenSearch alerts, including remediation and escalation.
• Maintain storage pod health across sites through hardware diagnosis, troubleshooting, configuration changes, and Ansible automation.
• Support Data Center Technicians with advanced pod troubleshooting, deployments, migrations, and Ansible playbooks.
• Manage Vault system pre-deployment testing, migrations, and migration-pod health checks.
• Deploy code updates with Jenkins, track network and server-farm changes, and automate operational workflows.

Requirements

• Location and work authorization: Must be based in the United States and eligible to work without visa sponsorship.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, Linux operations, or SRE environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, command-line interfaces, network cabling and topologies, and IP network classifications.
• Analytical troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and software interactions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
