Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: Fully remote in Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, Spain, or Estonia; office option available in Riga

Salary: €4,000–€6,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Design, implement, and tune SIEM detections and custom machine-learning models for anomaly and risk detection.
• Triage alerts, investigate incidents, lead technical response, and implement post-incident improvements.
• Secure and monitor AWS and Kubernetes environments, including IAM, workloads, container runtimes, and configuration standards.
• Harden and investigate macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoint fleets.
• Extend data loss prevention across removable media, email, and SaaS channels while reducing false positives.
• Automate security operations, operate AI-powered agents and pipelines, and discover and drive remediation of infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering or SecOps experience with production detections and incident response.
• Experience with a modern SIEM or security platform, preferably Elastic Security, and custom ML-based detection.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows, including hardening and investigation.
• Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and packet-level analysis.
• Production cloud security experience with AWS and Kubernetes, plus practical automation and hands-on LLM tooling experience.
• OSCP, OSEP, or a comparable practical infrastructure hacking or hardening certification, along with excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GCFA, GCIH, or AWS Security.
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, Atlantis, Elastic, Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus.
