Middleware Engineer (Tibco)

Location: Hybrid, based in Porto or Braga, Portugal

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain middleware integrations using ESB solutions, ideally Tibco.
• Develop and maintain Pentaho ETL pipelines for data transformation and loading.
• Manage and consume REST APIs within integration workflows.
• Use SQL and T-SQL for data querying, manipulation, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate Grafana, Kibana, or Nagios to provide monitoring and operational visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Middleware Engineer.
• Proficiency with ESB solutions; Tibco experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English at B2 level and native Portuguese.
• Based in Portugal and available for a hybrid work model in Porto or Braga.
• Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit required.

Nice to have

• Tibco version 6 experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS, Kong API Gateway and service mesh, SAP projects, or other microservices-oriented ESB solutions.
