TL;DR
National Communications Planner Spain and Eastern Europe (Strategic Communications/Defence): Developing integrated communications plans and market intelligence briefings across Spain and Eastern Europe with an accent on political and societal analysis, cross-functional alignment, and reputation management. Focus on advising senior leadership, orchestrating content and budgets, and measuring campaign performance and brand sentiment.
Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and political and societal dynamics across Spain and Eastern Europe.
- Consolidate metrics and prepare briefings identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Develop integrated communications plans and key messages for internal and external channels.
- Lead cross-functional alignment with Key Account Management, Public Affairs, Marketing, and Communications.
- Coordinate content production and archiving while managing channel and content budgets.
- Advise senior leadership on messaging, crisis communications, reputation, and campaign performance.
Requirements
- University degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience in strategic communications, PR, or integrated campaign planning.
- Experience working in complex corporate environments, preferably in highly regulated or politically sensitive industries.
- Strong senior stakeholder management, strategic thinking, adaptability, and the ability to influence across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
- Native or near-native Spanish and fluent English, written and spoken.
- Experience with market intelligence and reputation tracking platforms, such as Caliber, and a data-driven analytical mindset.

- Knowledge of Spanish and Eastern European defence, space, and security market dynamics.
