Senior Technical Program Manager (Space Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid in Golden, Colorado or San Francisco, California, with travel at least once per quarter for cross-office collaboration

What you will do

• Coordinate workload management, program delivery, and cross-functional initiatives across Cloud, Test, and Space Infrastructure teams.
• Support on-call scheduling across global time zones.
• Own Infrastructure team ways of working and ensure processes align with required standards.
• Manage the internal risk register, dependencies, and escalations for program and cross-functional deliveries.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Operations, Solutions, Product Engineering, and other functions to improve engineering efficiency and satellite fleet scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical program or project management experience in software and service operations.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience facilitating Agile development teams using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methods.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to develop processes for operational challenges and automate where possible.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials for executive audiences.
• Ability to travel at least once per quarter for cross-office collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in the space industry, technology startups, or organizations building hardware and software.
• Experience working with international teams across time zones.
• Product management experience or close collaboration with product teams.
• Python or automation and scripting experience in software engineering environments, including metric generation.
