AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden

What you will do

• Own and improve the AI platform, including the in-house app-building platform, Claude stack, and future AI capabilities.
• Build robust backend services and full-stack user-facing features that are reliable, scalable, secure, and easy to use.
• Develop AI infrastructure including agentic platforms, enterprise search, knowledge bases, knowledge graphs, and open-weight model access.
• Strengthen identity, authentication, permissions, access control, security reviews, audits, and integrations with company systems.
• Collaborate with AI and platform teams and colleagues across the business to test ideas and ship useful tools.
• Evaluate whether capabilities should be built, bought, or integrated while reducing vendor lock-in.

Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating robust, scalable internal platforms, ideally AI platforms.
• Solid backend engineering experience building applications and services at scale.
• Production experience with LLMs, including agents, tool use, MCP, RAG, search, or evaluation.
• Full-stack ability and good UX judgment when building tools for non-engineers.
• Understanding of identity, authentication, and access control, or a strong interest in developing in this area.
• Autonomy, ownership, practical implementation skills, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
