Software Engineer, Agentic AI

Location: San Francisco, United States

Salary: $120K–$200K annual base pay, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Build and deploy AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and multi-step reasoning systems.
• Develop AI capabilities for an accounting platform that continuously closes books, reconciles transactions, and produces financial reports.
• Integrate AI reasoning into secure, production-grade financial systems.
• Monitor, evaluate, and iterate on production AI systems.
• Balance innovation with reliability, scalability, and compliance while owning outcomes end to end.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
• Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Experience building and deploying AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step reasoning systems.
• Understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and iteration for production AI systems.
• Ability to balance innovation with reliability, scalability, and compliance.
• Role location: San Francisco, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or other agentic frameworks.
• Experience building intelligent automation for payments, payroll, bookkeeping, tax, or other financial workflows.
