What you will do

Design and build shared AI platform capabilities on Azure, with a focus on agent runtimes, orchestration, and tool integration.
Develop reusable templates, components, and reference implementations for LLM and generative AI workflows.
Establish secure and governed access patterns for LLMs, enterprise tools, and APIs using APIM, Entra ID, RBAC, and managed identities.
Contribute to LLMOps, AgentOps, and GenAIOps capabilities, including model access, routing, caching, evaluation, telemetry, and feedback loops.
Build reliability and observability patterns covering logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, scaling, and operational readiness.
Collaborate with Product, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and engineering teams to move AI capabilities from experimentation into production.

Requirements

Significant experience delivering production-grade AI systems as an AI Engineer, AI Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, and agent-based systems in production environments.
High proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and service-oriented systems.
Experience with Azure cloud and AI services, CI/CD, automated testing, versioned deployments, and observability tooling.
Understanding of the full AI lifecycle, production LLM runtime concerns, reliability, cost optimisation, and secure enterprise integration.
Role location: UK, London.

Nice to have

Experience with Azure AI Foundry or comparable generative AI and agent platforms.
Experience with Azure API Management as a governance or integration boundary.
Familiarity with AgentOps, MLOps, or GenAIOps concepts.
Experience establishing engineering standards, reusable patterns, or best practices for AI development.
