Buyer (Maternity Leave Cover) (Procurement)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

What you will do

• Execute procurement activities for an assigned portfolio using established concepts, procedures, and Airbus procurement processes.
• Manage Call for Tender processes, including supplier selection, contract administration, and NDA processing.
• Resolve operational procurement issues while optimizing Total Cost of Ownership and supplier deliverables.
• Support Supplier Relationship Management and proactive supplier risk management, including regular supplier assessment.
• Maintain cross-functional alignment and ensure compliance with internal processes, Ethics & Compliance, and procurement regulations.

Requirements

• Specialized knowledge relevant to procurement with limited professional experience in basic concepts and procedures.
• Understanding of tendering, negotiation, legal and contracting processes, and Supplier Relationship Management.
• Fluent written and verbal English is required; applications must be submitted exclusively in English.
• Ability to adapt to Coupa, SAP, E-Proc, Airsupply, and Google Workspace.
• Customer-focused, delivery-oriented, dependable under supervision, and able to resolve problems using established guidelines.
• Commitment to integrity, equity, Ethics & Compliance, and regulatory compliance in supplier selection.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of export control and sustainability laws and regulations.
• Additional European language skills, such as French, German, or Spanish.
