TL;DR
Inventory Planner (Oil & Gas Parts): Managing and optimizing inventory for SPM Oil & Gas parts across customer and operational sites with an accent on forecasting, demand planning, ERP control, and stock availability. Focus on reducing shortages and excess inventory, improving forecast accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating replenishment across supply chain, procurement, warehousing, sales, and operations.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; office-based five days a week

What you will do

  • Manage inventory levels to balance parts availability and excess stock across customer and operational sites.
  • Develop forecasts and demand-planning models for SPM Oil & Gas components.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, ERP data, stock shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks.
  • Coordinate replenishment with supply chain, procurement, warehousing, operations, sales, and customer-facing teams.
  • Investigate discrepancies, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare inventory reports and communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders; travel to customer and operational sites as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in inventory planning, materials planning, demand planning, or a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Syteline.
  • Experience in forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, and stock control.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and willingness to travel as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Oil & Gas, industrial equipment, aftermarket parts, or energy.
  • Experience managing high-value critical spare parts and multiple customer or operational sites.
  • Knowledge of service-parts management, distribution operations, and supply chain planning best practices.
