Senior Software Development Engineer - Full Stack (AI)

Salary: $184,500–$258,000 per year, with potential pay up to $295,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve backend services and supporting frontend experiences for the lodging inventory platform.
• Develop scalable, secure, and reliable solutions through system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Deliver production code with automated testing, observability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner engineering teams to create technical solutions, service integrations, and user experiences.
• Own the full service and feature lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions and use data, experimentation, analytics, and metrics to improve performance and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Ownership of services, components, or features across design, implementation, quality, deployment, and operational support.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, API design, and data modeling, with production experience.
• Hands-on experience with modern backend and frontend technologies, service architectures, and AI-driven tools or workflows.
• Ability to work in Austin, Texas, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience designing multi-service or full-stack architectures and service-to-service integrations.
• Experience improving high-traffic customer-facing systems through performance tuning, resilience, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with instrumentation, logging, metrics, alerting, on-call participation, and incident response.
• Experience with experimentation, feature flags, A/B testing, analytics, and service metrics.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities across backend services and frontend experiences.
