Security Analyst Internship

Location: Remote, anywhere in the U.S. Regular working hours must align with U.S. continental time zones, such as 9 AM–5 PM EST or 9 AM–5 PM PST, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Gain hands-on experience with GRC compliance tools, including Drata, and security tools such as CrowdStrike.
• Collect and review technical security evidence for audits and track compliance-related tasks.
• Support phishing simulations, email security initiatives, penetration-testing programs, and vulnerability reporting.
• Assist with SAST vulnerability tracking, remediation efforts, and AWS cloud security operations.
• Propose and develop workflow automations for GRC and security operations.
• Take ownership of assigned security projects and deliverables as the internship progresses.

Requirements

• Must be a current college or university student, or have graduated within the past 12 months.
• Undergraduate, postgraduate, and associate programs are accepted.
• Must be based in the U.S. and able to work regular hours in U.S. continental time zones.
• Must commit to full-time work for 32–40 hours per week over 20 weeks.
• Must have reliable, high-speed internet access during working hours.
