Sr Data Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $144,100–$193,200 per year, plus potential bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and grow data products and data warehouses for Content Performance and Content Engagement data.
• Develop scalable data warehousing solutions and ELT pipelines across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Use AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Automic UC4, and Airflow to transform, store, retrieve, and distribute Cast and Operations data.
• Architect data frameworks and define data assets using dimensional modeling and medallion structures.
• Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Architects, and Data Engineers to deliver data solutions.
• Maintain documentation, data quality, governance, operational efficiency, and SLA compliance while supporting agile and Scrum practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience developing large data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and expert-level SQL/T-SQL skills, including query development and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Kinesis, DMS, AppFlow, and EventBridge.
• Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database, including Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with Airflow, data integration, data pipeline maintenance, data modeling, and data warehousing methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience; agile and Scrum experience is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field.
