Senior Manager, Process and Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Onsite in Bothell, Washington, United States

Base salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential variable cash compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Lead Process, Manufacturing, and Sustaining Engineering activities from technology transfer through full product lifecycle support.
• Provide technical direction, establish engineering standards, and translate operational priorities into engineering roadmaps.
• Lead process characterization, validation, control strategy development, and equipment design, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
• Support new product introductions, process scale-up, technology transfers, and cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• Improve OEE, throughput, yield, and labor productivity through automation, workflow optimization, error-proofing, and data- and AI-enabled tools.
• Manage, mentor, and develop engineers and technical experts while building capabilities in advanced manufacturing, process modeling, automation, and statistical methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments, including 4+ years of people leadership.
• Experience leading Process or Manufacturing Engineering teams and cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Expertise in process development, validation, optimization, lean manufacturing, statistical process control, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, CAD tools, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing, validation practices, and quality systems.
• Experience with digital manufacturing, automation, and advanced analytics.
