Senior Incident Response Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or onsite depending on the employee's choice; hiring is available in countries where hirify.global has a legal entity.

Base pay in Poland: PLN 282,600–368,950 per year.

What you will do

• Lead security incident response as an escalation point, coordinating stakeholders and driving incidents toward resolution.
• Investigate security logs and events across multiple sources to identify compromise, determine scope, and assess impact.
• Conduct threat hunts, threat actor research, evidence collection, forensic analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Build technical mitigations, investigation tools, automations, and AI-assisted workflows to improve response speed and scalability.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Run tabletop exercises and simulations while advocating for secure coding and security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, detection engineering, threat research, or security engineering.
• Specialization in malware analysis, forensics, threat hunting, network analysis, or cloud endpoint analysis.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools or workflows in incident response or security operations.
• Fluency in a modern programming language, preferably Python, Ruby, Java, or Go, or strong security scripting experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or a similar cloud service platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
