PreAccess Manager (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: Onsite at Baystate Health facilities in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. The role may also be associated with hirify.global locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Salary: $80,000–$109,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage preservice operations covering registration, insurance verification, authorization, admitting, and financial clearance.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support efficient service delivery across the PreAccess team.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, reduce denials, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and revenue cycle best practices.
• Coach, mentor, onboard, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with Patient Access leadership, Baystate Health stakeholders, and hirify.global leadership on escalated issues, staffing, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
• Onsite work at Baystate Health facilities in Springfield, Massachusetts is required.
• At least 3 years of Patient Access experience in a healthcare setting.
• 1–2 years of progressive leadership experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, insurance requirements, and patient access workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent healthcare operations and leadership experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient access systems.
