Vice President, Global Facilities (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; Workplace: On-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a global facilities and real estate strategy aligned with growth, manufacturing capacity, workforce needs, and operational objectives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of owned and leased sites, including acquisition, leases, buildout, occupancy, maintenance, expansion, relocation, and disposition.
• Lead site selection, due diligence, property acquisitions, lease negotiations, land transactions, and relationships with real estate partners and government entities.
• Oversee facility operations, maintenance, safety, security, regulatory compliance, vendors, property managers, and service providers.
• Direct major expansions, renovations, infrastructure improvements, relocations, and new-site development from business case through commissioning and occupancy.
• Build a scalable facilities organization, establish governance and performance metrics, and manage operating and capital budgets with Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, facilities management, construction management, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate real estate, facilities, property management, construction, or related disciplines.
• Significant experience managing geographically dispersed facilities and real estate portfolios.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial leases and real estate agreements, as well as property acquisition, site selection, facility development, or major capital projects.
• Experience building or scaling facilities organizations in a high-growth environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, ERP and financial systems, CMMS and facilities platforms, lease and contract management systems, property management systems, financial modeling, and budgeting applications.

• Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, technology, or other technically complex environments.
• International facilities and real estate experience.
