Social Media Lead (Quantum Computing)

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined in the posting and must not be nationals of the People's Republic of China or Russia unless also U.S. citizens.

Base pay: $103,000–$138,000 annually. Bonus and equity eligible.

What you will do

• Own the social media program, including channel strategy, audience priorities, content themes, publishing cadence, and success metrics.
• Manage the editorial calendar, publishing, social listening, audience interactions, and scalable contribution processes.
• Grow presence and engagement across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and other relevant communities.
• Write platform-specific content and capture, produce, and edit short-form video and photography.
• Translate company news, interviews, events, and technical developments into accessible, technically accurate stories about quantum computing.
• Advise executives and senior stakeholders on social strategy, thought leadership, engagement, paid amplification, and reputational considerations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience developing social media frameworks, standards, governance, or scalable ways of working, with substantial ownership of brand social programs.
• U.S. Person status is required, including U.S. citizenship, permanent residence or green card status, or granted asylum or refugee status.
• U.S. Government national security requirements apply; candidates must not be People's Republic of China or Russian nationals unless also U.S. citizens.
• Strong writing, editorial judgment, analytical skills, and experience turning social performance data into actionable decisions.
• Hands-on experience with social strategy and execution, including LinkedIn, X, short-form video, photography, and community engagement.

Nice to have

• Social media experience in technology, science, enterprise B2B, or another complex subject area.
• Experience collaborating with technical experts and communicating with business, government, or investor audiences.
• Experience supporting executive thought leadership, paid amplification, Reddit or comparable community programs.
• Curiosity about quantum computing and a willingness to learn quickly.
