Senior T-SQL Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures for database functionality, testing, and reliability.
• Build characterization tests and automated database testing solutions using tSQLt or golden-master testing approaches.
• Design database replay harnesses with point-in-time restores and data masking for repeatable, secure testing.
• Execute test coverage for stored procedures, identify discrepancies, and validate expected outputs.
• Manage backup, restoration, and data-masking processes for reliable test environments.
• Integrate automated database testing into CI pipelines and develop supporting .NET test harnesses and automation utilities.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, database testing, and the software development life cycle.
• Experience with or willingness to adopt AI tools to improve daily engineering work and support AI adoption.
• Ability to oversee project execution, deliverables, and client-focused solutions.
• Ability to lead, mentor, coach, and motivate colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and exceeding client expectations.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with tSQLt, golden-master testing, database replay harnesses, or .NET automation utilities.
