Integration & Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first or hybrid; candidates based in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, or Chile.

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain integration workflows using low-code tools and custom JavaScript.
• Connect internal systems with third-party platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, authentication patterns, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop data pipelines and synchronization processes across databases and business systems.
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Build automated document, data-processing, routing, alerting, and operational workflows, including applicable AI and LLM capabilities.
• Collaborate with operations, product, and engineering teams, document workflows, and contribute to reusable components and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building integrations, automations, or workflow systems.
• Strong proficiency with low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Tray.ai, n8n, Zapier, or Make.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including custom functions and integration logic.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, JWT, JSON, XML, CSV, databases, and data synchronization.
• Experience with event-driven workflows, asynchronous processes, API documentation, debugging, and complex workflow troubleshooting.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across time zones are expected.

Nice to have

• Python, SQL, iPaaS or workflow orchestration platforms, cloud platforms, serverless architectures, and microservices.
• Experience with freight, logistics, supply chain, operations, RevOps, data engineering, or technical product roles.
• Experience measuring integration ROI and familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
