What you will do

• Lead and coordinate systems engineering activities for major U.S. Navy cybersecurity programs.
• Apply systems engineering practices across network security, boundary protection, cybersecurity, cyber analytics, and threat analytics.
• Coordinate distributed engineering teams, system technical requirements, derived requirements, and milestone completion.
• Assess Navy shore, afloat, and expeditionary network architectures and installation requirements.
• Plan, complete, and present cybersecurity and national security assessments, analyses, studies, and procedures.
• Conduct technical reviews and support risk management, requirements traceability, engineering changes, and configuration management.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. national security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software, systems, computer, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with network security, boundary protection, cybersecurity, cyber analytics, or threat analytics.
• Familiarity with virtualized cyber capabilities, including virtual firewalls, routing, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of Navy shore, afloat, and expeditionary network architectures, installation processes, and documentation.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required; experience with Security Classification Guides, Navy networks, SETRs, RTMs, and CMPro is expected.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP or Associate).
