Pre-Sales Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 OTE annually.

What you will do

• Run discovery with strategic prospects and customers to identify agentic use cases with measurable business value.
• Build and present proofs of concept on the hirify.global Loops agentic platform within weeks rather than months.
• Provide technical validation for live deals and adapt walkthroughs for technical architects and CxO stakeholders.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to turn recurring customer patterns into native platform capabilities.
• Shape the hirify.global Loops roadmap through field learnings and product requirements.
• Train core presales teams on platform capabilities and digital workers through global workshops.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles, including discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and objection handling.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, multi-agent design, tool use, human-in-the-loop patterns, and orchestration platforms such as Agent Studio or comparable tools.
• Ability to distinguish one-off customer requests from product patterns worth building into a platform.
• Knowledge of asset-intensive industries such as enterprise asset management, field service management, manufacturing, or aerospace and defense.
• Ability to communicate with both developers working with APIs and executives evaluating risk and ROI.
• Must work in a hybrid setup in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and be willing to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.

Nice to have

• Experience in forward-deployed, applied AI, or founding engineering roles at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
• Experience translating field learnings into product requirements or roadmap input.
• Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and agent evaluation frameworks.
• Experience deploying software into asset-intensive or regulated industries.
• Founder or builder experience delivering products from 0 to 1.
