Manager, Machine Learning Engineering - Agent Factory (AI)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; hybrid Flex work. At least 50% of each quarter must be spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners.

Annual base salary: 169,600–254,400 CAD.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team developing AI agents for HR and Finance.
• Drive timely delivery, technical excellence, scalability, reliability, and security of production-grade AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product managers, data scientists, architects, and principal engineers.
• Evaluate and integrate LLMs, RAG, orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, external vendor solutions, and open-source technologies.
• Establish testing, monitoring, and feedback loops to improve agent performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and enterprise standards across the hirify.global platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership delivering products at scale, with a strong focus on AI/ML and cloud-based systems.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise-grade AI architectures, API integration, and large-scale automation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hiring, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
