Prin Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Onsite in Lafayette, Colorado, United States; other listed locations include Mounds View, Minnesota, and North Haven, Connecticut.

Salary: $152,800–$229,200 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop new medical products and maintain existing medical software.
• Design, develop, debug, test, and review code for desktop applications and utilities using C++, Qt, and QML.
• Define software system design requirements and create documentation supporting regulatory and business needs.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, from product vision and requirements through planning, design, coding, testing, release, deployment, and support.
• Apply software architecture and design patterns, Agile methodologies, and Scrum to application development and support.
• Coordinate work with colleagues and provide engineering support across business departments.

Requirements

• Experience developing desktop applications with C++, Qt, and QML.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years, or a PhD with at least 3 years.
• Ability to work onsite in Lafayette, Colorado.
• For degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy applicable U.S. H-1B qualification requirements.
• Roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above.

Nice to have

• Medical device or other regulated-industry experience.
• Security and risk analysis experience.
• GUI application design and development experience.
