Sr. Infrastructure Engineer: CIS (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

Salary: $142,000–$220,500 annually

What you will do

• Operate and support enterprise DNS and DHCP services, including Infoblox routine changes, zone updates, and scope adjustments.
• Support network access control with ClearPass, including device onboarding, authentication troubleshooting, and 802.1X/RADIUS policy changes.
• Manage certificate lifecycle activities such as issuance, renewal, installation, and expiration monitoring.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Python, Ansible, or similar tools for DDI, certificate, and authentication workflows.
• Monitor infrastructure alerts, triage incidents, participate in the on-call rotation, and document changes and runbooks.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams while supporting DNS, connectivity, and configuration across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in network, infrastructure, or systems engineering, with exposure to DNS and DHCP.
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, network troubleshooting, and certificate/PKI concepts.
• Basic scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Working knowledge of at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to follow procedures, document work clearly, collaborate with senior engineers, and participate in on-call support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infoblox NIOS, BloxOne, or another enterprise DDI platform.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto, Panorama, Zscaler, certificate authorities, Sectigo, DigiCert, or Venafi.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Knowledge of wireless networking and ClearPass-based wireless authentication.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or an Infoblox associate credential.
